As a designer and advertising manager for Spectator for almost 30 years, Dan was a mentor and friend to hundreds of current and former students. He passed away in Fall 2016 following a long battle with illness. Dan will forever be remembered as an extraordinary member of the Spectator family.
About the fund
The Dan Smullyan Memorial Fund will endow a work-study position for one of Spectator's designers across all four years of their tenure. The fund pays tribute to Dan's enduring passion for graphic design and his dedication to the work of the newspaper. We encourage all alumni and friends of Spectator to leave a contribution in memory of his service.
